Who We Are

Our Directors
VMS is led by a board whose members have built and run businesses of significant scale - not simply worked within them, but run them. Individually, our directors have owned and operated private companies turning over in excess of $100 million per annum, employing several hundred people and delivering across remote and logistically complex environments. That experience brought them together to form VMS.
This is a board that has delivered large-scale projects across the full breadth of mining services - drilling, civil, mining, crushing and screening, and haulage - to the scale and standard demanded by the sector’s major operators. Our directors have run high-volume production operations, managed substantial fleets and workforces, and held accountability for the schedule, cost and safety outcomes that define performance on tier-one sites.
That experience spans both private and publicly listed companies. Directors have held managing director and board-level positions within large drilling operations, including executive leadership of a publicly listed company, carrying responsibility for governance, shareholder accountability, financial performance and operational delivery at scale. Others have built and run privately held businesses across equipment hire and plant operations, quarrying and crushing, mining haulage and civil contracting. Collectively, their backgrounds cover every discipline VMS brings together today. The integrated model VMS now delivers is a direct product of that combined experience.
Investment and Ownership
Our directors are active investors in the resource sector and commit their own capital to it. They have backed, acquired and operated projects and companies in their own right - taking direct positions in resource ventures, quarrying and crushing operations, and contracting businesses, and carrying them through development, operation and growth. This is not passive investment. It is a board that puts its own money behind the sector and stands accountable for the outcome - building businesses, turning around operations and creating value across the full mine lifecycle. That commercial discipline directly informs how VMS is structured, capitalised and run. We make decisions the way owners do, because we are.
Owner-Operator Perspective
Several directors hold tenements and operate their own resource projects, setting VMS apart from contractors whose experience has only ever been on one side of the fence. Our leadership has owned the orebody, carried the production risk, and managed the cost and schedule pressures that come with it. We know what a contractor’s performance is worth to an operation because we have been the operation.
Collectively, the board brings direct experience across the full mine lifecycle - from early site establishment through active production, processing and port services to closure - including the ownership and operation of remote camps and resource projects. That depth of experience shapes how VMS is structured: an integrated contractor built to hold accountability across multiple disciplines, sequence delivery to protect production, and put experienced leadership behind the work it oversees.
